Your wedding day is certainly one you want to remember. You might peruse your photo album on a regular basis or maybe your dress is still hanging up pride of place in your wardrobe – but how about saving your wedding cake?
One couple in America celebrate their wedding anniversary in a very special and unique way. Every year, they have a slice of their wedding cake – the same wedding cake they had on the day they got married 60 years ago.

The cake in question was made by Ann's mother in 1955 and, every year, Ann and Ken enjoy it whilst sitting down to watch a recording of their special day.
In a video on the BBC, the happy couple bite into their annual slice of cake and Ken casually says, ‘it just tastes like cake!’

As quaint as this story sounds, just remember that it’s definitely not advisable to eat food past its sell by date – certainly not decades past - and it is unclear how the cake is stored between anniversaries. But, we think it’s lovely that Ann and Ken still share this tradition and cherish the day they were wed.
