Mike Tindall has revealed how oldest daughter Mia is coping with the arrival of her new sibling, after wife Zara Tindall gave birth last month. The family welcomed a baby girl, Lena Elizabeth, on 18 June.
Opening up about the impact on four-year-old Mia, Mike explained that his oldest child is loving being a big sister – adding that the couple's family and friends have played a big part in making the transition so smooth.
Chatting to Hello! today (4 July), while promoting charity initiative Val d'Istance Challenge, the former professional rugby player said: 'She [Mia] is very happy to be a big sister; she is happy about that.

And, when asked how he and Zara are coping with Lena's arrival themselves, he continued: 'We're doing alright at the moment.
'We've had a couple of bad nights with her but otherwise she has started off strong.'
Going on to explain why they waited a little while before announcing Lena's name to the world – the couple made the announcement on 27 June, nine days after Lena's birth – Mike revealed that he and Zara had faced a common parenting dilemma...
'We put together a list of names that we liked and that's why it took a little bit of time to get to one that we both agreed [on] and liked,' he continued.
Huge congratulations to the Tindall family! We can't wait to see the first photos of Mia and Lena together.
