Laura (Joanne Froggatt) travels to Edinburgh to speak with the mother of Andrew’s late wife in the next episode of Liar – and finds more than she bargained for.
In a preview clip released by ITV, Laura can be seen going to the house of Mary Earlham’s mother and revealing she was raped by Andrew – much to the woman’s shock.
This latest move from Laura follows the audience learning Andrew is not as innocent as he seems.

Last week, a flashback revealed Andrew (Ioan Gruffud) did indeed drug Laura, suggesting everything she’s accused him of is true.
Speaking about the decision to give the story away part way through the series, the show’s writers Harry and Jack Williams said:
‘The worst thing you can do is say "Let’s wait until the end to reveal everything" and then spend two hours of the audience’s time going, “Um – what are we going to do now?”’
