With this in mind, we asked the expert wine tasters at Wotwine to take a look at some of the new supermarket releases and pick out great wines with heartwarming prices!

Well balanced, savoury wine with ripe red sour cherries, juicy red plums, wet earth and wild herb character.
This wine is perfect with slow-cooked lamb, game casserole or, the traditional pairing in its native Piedmont in Northern Italy, wild boar ragu and pasta. Delicious!

Sometimes it’s better not to translate the names of wines. This, from Southern Portugal, means “Dog House” and is anything but! It is definitely one for those who like ripe, fruity wines.
