We already thought James Corden taking Sir Paul McCartney for a Carpool Karaoke ride would be one of his biggest triumphs, but now that it's actually aired, we know for certain.
Sorry, James, but you've probably peaked now.
James and the living legend that is Sir Paul drove around Liverpool for the comedian's final UK edition of The Late Late Show last night (June 21), complete with a tour of The Beatles' star's childhood home and a greatest hits gig in the pub. Naturally.

Not only that, but Sir Paul also revealed some surprising insights into some of The Beatles' biggest hits – namely his dad's (somewhat questionable) suggestion to change the famous chorus of 'She Loves You'.
Unsurprisingly, fans were quick to declare the so-called #McCartneyCarpool one of the best episodes yet. A little more surprising, however, was just how emotional it made people.
"This is such a beautiful gift," one fan commented, while another admitted they were "weeping with joy" watching James and Sir Paul take a trip down Memory Lane.
Summing it up, another fan added: "The best carpool karaoke ever in the history of carpool karaoke".
You can watch James Corden's very special edition of Carpool Karaoke in all its glory on YouTube. It'll be the best thing you see all day. Maybe even this year...
The Late Late Show with James Corden airs on Sky One and NOW TV in the UK.
