There could be a-ma-ZING news for Craig Revel Horwood in the near future as it's been rumoured that he'll be replacing Len Goodman as head judge on Strictly Come Dancing.

Sunday Mirror reports that Strictly's Mr Nasty is being backed by his colleagues to take over Len's chair when he bows out of the reality competition following the upcoming series, especially since Craig has been there from the get-go.

But the BBC told Digital Spy that they do not comment on speculation.

It's said that the move would be to balance the heavily-rumoured arrival of nice guy Anton Du Beke as the new judge, with Anton's inexperience on the panel meaning he wouldn't get the head judge role.

Anton has so far earned support from Len himself and former Strictly pros Trent Whiddon and Vincent Simone to become a judge on the hit show. He could still face competition from rival Brendan Cole, even if he was seemingly ruled out earlier this month.

But before we find out who'll be practising their 'SEVEN' voice, there's the small matter of Len's final series beginning on September 3.

Olympic gymnast Claudia Fragapane was the latest celebrity announced to be hitting the ballroom floor this series. She joins previously announced celebrities Ed Balls, Will Young, Laura Whitmore, Ore Oduba, Melvin Odoom, Louise Redknapp, Danny Mac, Daisy Lowe, Naga Munchetty and Anastacia when the series returns to the BBC next month.
