It's the beginning of the end. Sue Perkins has JUST recorded her final Great British Bake Off voiceover ever.

'Not ashamed to admit I just shed a tear at my final ever Bake Off voice over. Farewell my tenty chum x', Sue wrote on Twitter.

And what about the Channel 4's Bake Off with Paul Hollywood?

As of now, we know it will air a Stand Up to Cancer special on at some point in 2017… but there's still no confirmation yet on whether we'll have to wait until 2018 for a full series.

But there's one positive sign that it could be coming soon – the search for the next crop of Great British Bake Off contestants has already started.

It's not quite over for Sue and company yet, though, because you can watch the final ever Great British Bake Off on the BBC this festive season, with two specials on Christmas Day and Boxing Day.
