15 reasons David Beckham is our favourite celebrity dad
David Beckham turns 40 this weekend, and he’s managed to cram an awful lot in so far. There's the world class footballing career spanning 20 years, a happy marriage to Victoria Beckham, and a gorgeous family to match. All that, and he STILL manages to maintain a face that can only have been carved by angels.
In celebration of his birthday, here are some of David Beckham’s finest fatherly moments.

He still embarrasses his children
It’s hard to believe that someone so internationally respected as David Beckham could still manage to make his kids blush. But boy, did he manage it on The Late Late Show with James Corden, when he spilled the beans about 16-year-old Brooklyn’s first date. Revealing that wife Victoria would only let Brooklyn take a girl out if his dad was also in attendance, David recalled how he sat a few seats away as his eldest son did his best to woo his young ladyfriend.

Or his entire body, come to think of it. This brilliant photo was taken after he got gunged with sons Romeo and Cruz on stage at the Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards in 2014. A dad who will happily get gunged is a super-dad indeed.
