As we eagerly await Poldark season 3's return to screens in June 2017, BBC have released brand new images of the cast, getting us more excited than ever for the show's return.
The pictures show leading couple Ross and Demelza in an embrace, looking more loved up than we left them in season 2.
However it's not all martial bliss for the pair, as the BBC has revealed that in the new episodes, Ross will ‘traverse new family, new love and new conflicts.' New love, eh?

The pair's marital peace will also be disturbed, the BBC has said, by the arrival of Demelza's brothers Sam and Drake Carne (played by Tom York, Harry Richardson.)
The channel has also released an image of these two characters, along with another new face, Emma Tregirls (Ciara Charteris.)

Another new cast member set to ruffle feathers is Hugh Armitage, played by Josh Whitehouse, a Naval Navigator and romantic poet besotted with Demelza.
Speaking about her character Demelza receiving attention from the young admirer, Eleanor Tomlinson has said during series three she begins to ‘fall in love with the idea of being wanted.’

Other notable new faces include Emma Tregirls' father Tholly (Sean Gilder), a dangerous yet comical old friend of Ross' father who's sure to be an interesting addition to the show.
Well, this has made us even more eager for Poldark season 3 to return. At least we haven't got long to wait now...
