We love a bit of nostalgia, so we were thrilled to hear this morning that Geri Horner, ex-Spice Girl, is set to present a documentary about the 1990s – the decade in which she and her bandmates rose to worldwide fame.

The documentary will see the former Spice Girl reflect on her own Nineties journey from 18-year-old Watford girl to internationally famous Spice Girl and successful solo artist by the end of the decade.

Speaking about the 90s, Horner said: ‘It was a decade of hope, opportunity and change, in all areas of life, a decade of freedom. The freedom to be yourself, to make your own choices as expressed through music, fashion and politics.

‘I think the Nineties was a very optimistic decade that proved that regardless of who you are and where you come from, you can evolve and change and dreams can come true.'
