Forget brilliant innuendos and amazing puns from Mel & Sue, the best thing to come from this year’s Bake Off comes in the form of Selasi and Val’s friendship.
The bakers, who frequently message each other on social media, recently shared images of their reunion weekend in Somerset - and we can’t get enough.
Selasi, who was knocked out last week in the semi-finals, shared a picture of the smiling pair on his Instagram account.

Fans couldn’t get enough of the friendship, as the images became inundated with comments such as ‘my favourite people’ and ‘this honestly makes my heart so happy’.
Val even had some lovely words to say about her fellow contestant after his departure from the show.
Taking to Twitter, she wrote, ‘Dear Sels you were magnificent , such a gentle human being , I would be proud to have you as my son.
‘Sels , thank you for always carrying my baking bags. Thank you to all the bakers for carrying stuff for me.’
