She might be best known as a bitchy assistant in The Devil Wears Prada, but Emily Blunt is about to take on a whole new guise in our minds: as Mary Poppins.
The 33-year-old Brit has been cast in the sequel to the 1964 Disney classic, following in the footsteps of Dame Julie Andrews.

The film will be set in Depression-hit London, but no doubt Mary’s presence will bring a sprinkle of magic and joy!
Will Emily be able to replicate Dame Julie’s success, picking up a Best Actress Oscar for her role as Mary Poppins? We’ll have to wait and see, as the film is not due to be released until Christmas Day in 2018.
