Introducing the fantastic 'Very Important Pudsey' collection from BBC Children in Need, a bespoke collection of 8 bears designed by the great and the good from British film, TV and music, including designs by Sir Paul McCartney, Dame Helen Mirren and Joanna Lumley! Watch Children in Need on Friday, 15 November 2013.
This leprecaun Pudsey has been designed in the hope that he will bring pots of gold and luck for BBC Children in Need this year.

The ‘Diamonds are Forever’ Bear is inspired by Dame Shirley's iconic Bond theme tune and is embellished with 3,500 genuine Swarovski crystals with a glass bead fabric for the bandana.
Dame Shirley said, ‘BBC Children in Need is a very special charity doing incredible work for disadvantaged children, so I of course wanted to support them in restyling Pudsey Bear. Pudsey is an icon, and as such I felt he deserved a bit of sparkle, and just a touch of luxury, after all, he deserves it.’

The 'Sweetie Darling' Bear is inspired by Joanna's years playing Patsy in Absolutely Fabulous. The tweed suit jacket is made of proper Linton tweed with original vintage Chanel buttons and a Lulu Guinness handbag.
Joanna said, 'This project really has been tremendous fun; I loved dreaming up my Pudsey design. I don't believe it needs much explanation, but my design is a reflection of a character I hold very dear, Patsy! I hope this bear has just as much fun being Patsy as I did! Please do get bidding and give this adorable bear a lovely home!'

The ‘Sgt. Pepper’ Bear is inspired by the legendary Beatles album Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band. Sir Paul helped source the fabrics, ensuring his design was made exactly as he envisaged it. The jacket is embellished with vintage miliatry medals and buttons and sterling silver on the WW2 medal.
