The Duchess of Edinburgh looked fabulous in a ‘colour-of-the-moment’ suit this week, as she attended a special charity event. Sophie off-set the formality of the tailoring with a refined ‘messy bun’, pulling her hair back into a low loop which she secured with a scrunchie.
The Duchess’ wine-toned burgundy blazer and suit trousers were the perfect autumnal choice, as she joined a prize-giving event to mark an important occasion. For World Sight Day, Sophie met with England women’s football team goalie, Hannah Hampton, to present her with a Love Your Eyes Special Recognition Award.
‘Born with strabismus, a serious vision condition that left her with almost no depth perception, Hannah underwent multiple surgeries at a young age,’ explained a post by the Royal Family. ‘Defying the odds, Hannah is today one of the world’s leading goalkeepers, inspiring millions with her story.’
