It's Paris Fashion Week, which means plenty of starry appearances on the front row of designer shows, and A-listers popping up on the red carpet of all the glamorous parties. And it was a special family moment for Madonna and her daughter Lourdes, as the pair made a rare red carpet appearance together on Monday (29 September).

The mother-daughter duo arrived at the Saint Laurent Spring/Summer 2026 fashion show, which was held at Paris' Fontaine du Trocadéro. Madonna and Lourdes captured attention as they wore matching looks, co-ordinating their outfits in monochrome black. Lourdes chose a scoop neck midi dress, while mum Madonna went for a lace skirt and leather jacket. Both also wore black tights - a sign has arrived even as the fashion world looks ahead to spring.

The key difference, however, was their statement accessories. For Lourdes, it was a set of oversized gold earrings, while for Madonna it was a classic pair of dark shades.

Madonna and Lourdes were pictured smiling with their arms around each other, and sharing a kiss on the cheek, as they posed for paparazzi on the way into the fashion show. The pair don't often make public appearances together, although Madonna does occasionally share insight into her family life on social media.

Most recently, for instance, Madonna posted a birthday tribute with photographs of her son, David Banda, throughout the years. In a caption, Madonna said that from the moment she met David, who she adopted, she knew he was 'meant for greatness' and that there's 'nothing' he couldn't do.

In the photos, Madonna holds a young David alongside daughter Lourdes. Further images chart him growing up, learning to play guitar and piano and even the pair performing on stage alongside his mum.
