It's officially Thursday Murder Club day, as the much-anticipated film adaptation of Richard Osman's novel series finally releases on Netflix today (Friday 22 August). As well as Thursday's premiere (21 August), the show's launch has been marked by a specially themed trail through RHS gardens.
One of the film's stars, Celia Imrie was there to test out the Thursday Murder Club-themed trail, which includes floral billboards, a scavenger hunt and a tearoom with treats inspired by the film's characters.

A release explained there would be a 'Joyce-themed tearoom takeover at the iconic RHS Garden Wisley' which would 'offer character-inspired treats crafted in the style of Celia Imrie's fan-favourite portrayal.'
'Think Elizabeth's Earl Grey (with a twist) and Ibrahim's Calming Chamomile to Joyce's famous Lemon Drizzle and Ron's must-try Sausage Rolls,' it continued.
For her own visit to one of the RHS trails, Celia wore a silk floral shirt dress by Suzanna London. Sophie, the Duchess of Edinburgh previously wore a custom version of the same piece to Ascot earlier this year.
Netflix's garden collaboration comes as a survey of 2,000 UK adults (commissioned by the streaming network) revealed that 'the mental workout of solving a 'whodunnit' is described as the ultimate wind-down for nearly half of Brits (47%), with one in three Brits now finding the prospect of solving a murder more relaxing than meditation.'
Of course, Celia was also on the red carpet in London's Leicester Square for the new film's premiere yesterday evening. She was joined by her co-stars Dame Helen Mirren, Pierce Brosnan and Ben Kingsley, as well as other cast members.
