The Thursday Murder Club film is almost here and, to celebrate its release, the cast reunited in London. Lead actors Dame Helen Mirren, Pierce Brosnan, Celia Imrie and Ben Kingsley got together for a press event on Tuesday (19 August) - and it looked like they all got the memo on matching outfits.

Snapped at the British Library, the foursome smiled arm-in-arm for the cameras, wearing co-ordinating navy blue outfits. Dame Helen wore a midi shirt dress with a floral print by Erdem (the 'printed crepe de chine midi dress' - £1995), while Celia Imrie wore sleek double-breasted tailoring featuring a semi off-the-shoulder neckline. The boys didn't disappoint either - both were in smart navy suits with polka dot accessories; Ben via his pocket square, and Pierce with his tie.

Author of the original Thursday Murder Club book series Richard Osman was also there with the cast on the day, as was filmmaker Christopher Columbus. And while it was the four main cast members who were in the spotlight on Thursday, the film (which we're predicting to be impeccable) boasts a stellar line up that also includes David Tennant, Daniel Mays, Henry Lloyd-Hughes, Richard E Grant, Tom Ellis, Geoff Bell and Paul Freeman.

If you're a fan of the book and thinking you might know exactly what's going to happen, think again. Speaking on his podcast The Rest is Entertainment, Richard Osman revealed that there have been some changes.

"The plot, as I understand it, for The Thursday Murder Club movie is based on the first book but it's not entirely the same, because you have to change things is the truth," he said. Luckily, we don't have long to wait to see what those changes will be!

The Thursday Murder Club will be released on Netflix on Thursday 28 August.
