Hollywood star Margot Robbie has given a revealing tour of the office space where she runs production company Lucky Chap with her husband Tom Ackerley and fellow founder Josey McNamara. And hidden in the stylish midcentury decor, there are plenty of cinematic inside jokes.

Across two posts on Instagram with Architectural Digest, Margot Robbie opened the doors to her company office, which has been meticulously designed. "Despite the unassuming exterior the interiors tell a different story: one that’s layered, textural, and quietly cinematic. With high vaulted ceilings and an airy mezzanine," according to the caption.

The photographs and video clips reveal a stunning building with high ceilings, studded with potted, full height trees. The space is filled with warm neutral tones, cosy furniture and checked rugs for an understated but welcoming feel. "We decided to lean into its midcentury style and bring in a mix of European pieces to give it personality," says the interior designer Scarlett Hessian in the post.

But amongst the low sofas, rattan chairs and abstract artwork we spotted a few clever jokes relating to Margot's movie career. Firstly, a still of Margot in character as ice skating legend Tonya Harding in I, Tonya is framed in the office. Then there's a large coffee table book about Barbie on one of the tables - a nod to the character she played in the live action adaption, which she also produced.

But perhaps the cleverest reference is a piece of art which combines both Margot's role in Barbie as well as her breakout role in The Wolf of Wall Street. In the image, a Barbie doll is set up in one of Margot's famous scenes in The Wolf of Wall Street, where she has her heel against the forehead of her on-screen husband, played by Leonardo DiCaprio.

Margot, Tom and Josey first set up Lucky Chap from a kitchen bench in London, meaning that establishing an office space which worked for them was an important step. The caption explains that the team have "never been office people, so finding a space they wanted to work from was going to be a challenge. After three moves in 10 years, the LuckyChap team knew exactly what they didn’t want–a conventional office."
