Jo Whiley on the things that bring her joy

Radio DJ and TV Presenter, Jo Whiley, has shared some of the things that bring her joy.

The star posted pictures of her favourite items and places - from her favourite brand of nail polish to a "beautiful, clean" spot for open water swimming - on Instagram.

Alongside 10 gorgeous photos of things that have brought her joy over the past few weeks, Jo shared some of the reasons why she loves each of them.

Jo's first joy was the Cave necklace, handmade by Ruth Wood at Ada Gallery. "It comes in different sizes but I like the large one for impact," she said.

Up next was "a bunch of fave beauty bits & pieces," including Nail Berry polish, Blink Brow Bar's for their range of pencils and brushes for brows, Emma Hardie Cleansing balm & cloth, and Balanceme skincare - "especially the Niacinamide complexion booster and intensive wrinkle repair cream," Jo added.

Jo described her fourth joy - the Cocoa Satin Kajal liner by Victoria Beckham Beauty - as "a game changer."

Another skincare favourite for Jo was the micro exfoliating balm from Oskia, which she said she's loved forever.

Jo's joys also included outdoor activities.

She revealed that she scoots to work in London every day, using her Oxelo scooter. On her journey, she passes by Regents Place, where "the greening, planting and design of this outdoor space is stunning & makes my commute so enjoyable."

Meanwhile, according to Jo, an early morning dip doesn't get much better than one at "amazing" rural retreat, Falcon Castle Ashby, where she described the water as beautiful, clean and clear.

Jo was also lucky enough to see "a dramatic flyby from a Kingfisher under the watchful eye of the resident heron."

But it was her own garden that made for Jo's final joy: "I’ve done lots and lots of gardening this week & the warm September has meant the last flush of the flowers are as pretty as a picture," she said.
