Grey's Anatomy star Patrick Dempsey has confirmed that he will return as Robert in upcoming Enchanted sequel Disenchanted.
The sequel to the hit 2007 Disney movie – which stars Amy Adams as princess Giselle as she is transported from her cartoon world to the real-life world of New York – has certainly been a long time in the making.
However, Disenchanted wasn't actually officially confirmed until last year, with the movie now due to stream on Disney+.

Now it has been announced that original star Dempsey will be joining Adams, after the pair's characters ended-up marrying at the end of the first movie.
Appearing on Good Morning America, Dempsey said: "I just got this script for the second movie, and then I'm starting to go through and get notes together".
The star also revealed there was talk of Disenchanted starting to film in spring, while also praising "amazing" co-star Adams.
It has already been revealed that Adam Shankman will direct the sequel, having been attached to the project since 2016 (we did say it had been a long time coming).
James Marsden is also rumoured to be returning as Prince Edward, though the star did express concerns last year about the movie taking so long before it was confirmed.
"They've been talking about making that movie for a while but I hope so, I hope we make it," he said at the time. "We've been fooled before that it was gonna happen, it didn't happen. We should do it before we get too long in the tooth."
