BBC One's hit series Poldark came to an emotional end last night (26 August) with the last hurrah featuring everything from a potential affair and a duel to a birth and a wedding.

Robin Ellis, who played Ross Poldark in the original series, has appeared in Debbie Horsfield's adaptation before as magistrate Reverend Halse and he played an important role in the finale.
