Looking for a new vacuum cleaner? Dyson has announced the launch of its latest vacuum — Dyson 360 Vis Nav Robot Vacuum — and you can get your hands on it from today (27 September).
The company claims it’s the most powerful robot vacuum available with six times the suction of any other. The 360 degree Vis Nav is being launched 30 years after Dyson’s prototyping for its first bagless vacuum cleaner, which became the DC01.
The name comes from the fact it has a 360 degree vision system, so it knows where it has been, sees where to clean, and can even create dust maps of your home. There are 26 sensors so it can avoid bumping into obstacles.

Other new features include the fact it is D-shaped – rather than round – and automatically cleans edges and corners in a room. Sensors detect the edge of the room and can redirect the suction through a side-actuator.
It also has a light which automatically comes on in the dark and means the robot can clean under furniture and in poor light — so all in all, it's one very impressive machine!
Owners can pre-programme what parts of their home they want their Vis Nav to clean using the MyDyson app – and the machine has up to 50 minutes of run time before it needs to automatically recharge on its wall dock.
It is available in the UK from Dyson.co.uk and Dyson Demo Stores. Costing £1,399.99, it is available in navy blue and has lots of new features.
