450g (1lb) frozen fruit of your choice, such as blueberries, raspberries, summer fruits or mango
75g (3oz) icing sugar
1Tbsp. fruit liqueur, such as framboise or cassis, optional
Directions
Step 1
Put frozen fruit and icing sugar into a food processor or blender. Pour in the liqueur, if using, or add 1tbsp water. Whiz until smooth and scoopable, about 1-2min. Be patient - it may take a while for the fruit to break up.
Step 2
Spoon sorbet into bowls or glasses. Garnish with extra liqueur, nuts, mint or chocolate, if you like. Serve immediately or freeze in an airtight container for up to three months.
An extra oomph
Why not add chopped nuts, grated chocolate or chopped fresh mint?
