For some, the idea of pure bliss is a KITKAT paired perfectly with a cup of tea, but what if we told you Nestle are upgrading the beloved snack to include more ‘luxurious’ flavours?

The confectionary giant announced on Friday the launch of KITKAT senses, a box of individually-wrapped bite-size chocolates in three flavours: hazelnut, double chocolate and salted caramel.

Each bar will have the trademark chocolate and wafer and then the layer of whatever the flavour is. This will either be crunchy pieces of hazelnuts, a salted caramel filling infused with crunchy caramel flakes or a rich chocolate ganache and crunch cocoa nibs for the double chocolate variant.

Alex Gonnella, the marketing director for Nestle’s UK confectionary business, said: “KITKAT Senses is a more premium format that gives people the opportunity to enjoy their favourite KITKAT in a different way, it’s ideal for sharing with friends and family, looks great on the table and makes a perfect gift.”

KITKAT Senses will be available in both the mixed box, with all three flavours, and a hazelnut-only box in stores from 27th February.
