One in 10 Brits has been defined as an ‘Ultimate Foodie’, according to new research by La Maison Maille. But what’s an ‘Ultimate Foodie’ you might ask?
Apparently, if you’re a foodie, food and flavour is a way of life for you. You cook two-thirds of your meals from scratch at home and spend nearly 10 hours (9 hours 54 minutes) in the kitchen each week – 2.5 hours longer than the national average. You eat out on average six times a month, 50% more than the average, and spend £119 a month eating out, nearly double the national average (£64.80).
