Fans of the velvety Galaxy Truffles will be excited to hear that the luxurious chocolate treats have been turned into a new hot chocolate.

As we head into the cooler months the hot chocolate cravings set in and there's nothing quite as comforting as curling up with a steamy mug of chocolatey goodness on a chilly night. So the launch of Galaxy Truffles Hot Chocolate could not have come at a better time.

Available now at Asda for £2.79 per tub, the brand says that the premium chocolate powder genuinely: "embodies the smooth rich flavours of Galaxy Truffles."

We topped ours with cream and marshmallows, but the tasty drink doesn't even need extras, the velvety rich chocolate is delicious by itself.

To be made with hot milk, the sleek tub has handy microwave instructions and needs only two teaspoons of powder per cup so the tub will last longer than expected.

It's exactly what you need after a long day of Christmas shopping, or to warm up little ones when they get home from school.

Galaxy Truffles Hot Chocolate is available in ASDA now. RRP: £2.79.
