But when you team the high street hero with the fashion powerhouse that is Jonathan Anderson, you get some of the chicest, designer quality pieces you could dream of, that won’t put a dent in your bank account.
The varied Oxford shirt offering was the first to come in the Uniqlo x JW Anderson collaboration, presenting classic boxy wardrobe staples in striped pink and blue, as well as crisp, plain white. But, it’s the newest entry — an incredibly cosy jacket inspired by a popular heritage style — that has immediately caught my expert eye. Enter: the Puffertech Short Jacket.
A hybrid of the barn jacket and the puffer coat, the short jacket is an upgraded version of the brand’s popular lightweight swing jacket. Featuring a velvety corduroy collar and matching cuffs, it comes with a removable Scottish Highland style hood with checked lining reminiscent of the tartan pattern we’ve all swooned over this season. Available in brown, the jacket adds an autumnal touch to any outerwear collection, but you can also shop it in maritime navy or vanilla neutral.
