The Liar star attended the BFI Gala dinner & auction in a silver dress that sparkled with every step she took.
The £3,193 dress was by J.Mendel and it ticks off the big metallic trend for AW17.

Also attending the event was her former Downton Abbey co-star Michelle Dockery, who went for a bolder look.
Michelle wore a midi satin frock, covered in an intricate floral design.
Her sleeves finished with large velvet gold cuffs and the keyhole neckline featured other fabric designs.
Earlier this week, the official Downton Abbey Facebook page shared an image announcing that ‘something big is happening at Downton!’
Alongside the picture, it wrote, ‘Big news is on its way! Check back soon for a special announcement’.
