Nothing is quite as satisfying as finding the perfect dress; the figure-complimenting frock that never lets you down - so much so, you want it in every colour under the sun.
And it seems the Duchess has found that in the form of this mid-length 'Finella' gown from Preen, which she owns in both red and black.

At the recent Place2Be ceremony, a charity that supports children's mental health, Kate is seen sporting the beautiful £995 box-pleated frock from Preen by Thornton Bregazzi.
There's no doubt that this dress is incredibly flattering, with the perfect hem length, gorgeous draped bodice and elegant silhouette.
She paired the dress with wavy-cut Prada pumps and a crystal bow belt by Temperley London.

But this isn't the first time we've seen the Duchess wearing this style. Kate wowed the world when she wore the same dress, but in red, while attending a reception with her husband the Duke of Cambridge on their royal tour of Canada earlier in the year.
However, proving the dress's versatility Kate originally paired the Preen gown with Gianvito Rossi shoes, a LaPrendo clutch and a sweet platinum and diamond maple leaf brooch.
Sadly, the dress has undergone 'the Duchess effect' and is selling out fast. There are still a few sizes left, but you'll have to be quick to get your hands on one...
