Why we like it: Our Lab pros named the second generation AirPods Pro the best overall due to their crisp audio, secure fit, and water- and sweat-resistant design. Per Apple, the noise-cancellation feature on these earbuds is twice as powerful as previous generations.

What you should know: Although these AirPods aren't matching their record-low Prime Day price right now, this $80 discount rivals what we've seen during other holiday weekends this year.

Why we like it: If you prefer over-ear headphones to earbuds, opt for AirPods Max while they're modestly discounted. Our testers raved about their sleek design, easy-to-use controls, and stellar sound quality. This second-generation model also features USB-C charging.

What you should know: Discounts on these 0ver-ear headphones will vary depending on what color you choose. During Prime Day, AirPods Max were just $429, so this deal might deepen as Labor Day approaches.
