Experts in the Good Housekeeping Institute's Cleaning Lab have tested hundreds of vacuum cleaners over the decades and get excited when high-performing models go on sale, because a good vac with strong suction can be a big investment. We swept through our collection of vacuum roundups (over a dozen stories) and testing insights to cherry-pick the best Prime Day vacuum deals worth your money.

Why we like it: Dyson makes some of our favorite cordless vacuums, and we consistently feature them in our product guides. This model is lightweight for carrying up the stairs, comes with a HEPA filter that traps 99.99% of particles as small as 0.3 microns, and features detangling technology for those with furry friends at home.
What to know: This 36% discount is the best deal we've found from the Dyson vacuums we recommend. It's not our favorite Dyson (that title goes to the Dyson V15 Detect Plus Cordless Vacuum), but it's certainly a top-performing model.

Why we like it: During our Lab evaluations, this robot vac was one of the best at removing pet hair from carpets. Its slim design means it can easily reach under low furniture (a tough target for some robot vacuums) and earned the highest maneuverability score out of 15 models.

Why we like it: In Lab evaluations, this Bissell vacuum mop received top scores for picking up dry debris like cereal and coffee while mopping our test floor. Users reported that it was able to clean a variety of everyday spills and pet messes and was easy to set up.
What to know: The CrossWave OmniForce is currently at its lowest price. We recommend shopping this vac sooner rather than later, given some uncertainty on how tariffs will affect pricing.

Why we love it: With multiple self-cleaning features and easy-to-use features, this vacuum mop can do it all. In our Cleaning Lab tests, this two-in-one model quickly cleaned both wet spills and dry messes on multiple floor types, including hardwood floors.
What to know: The H14 Wet and Dry Vacuum is the newest iteration from Dreame. It performed similarly to the H12 in our tests, but it's a bit pricier. However, it's currently 44% off (bringing the price to $294) if you're willing to spend a bit more.
