With season 3 of the hit drama coming back to TV on Sunday, October 19, 2025 at 8 p.m. ET on CBS, folks have been wondering exactly what's going on with the status of new episodes. Well, it seems like viewers missed an exciting update on how things are going on Tracker—and Justin Hartley (who executive produces the show and stars as Colter Shaw) was on hand to help deliver the exciting news.
In a new video uploaded on Instagram on August 13, fans learned that Tracker is officially in production and filming new episodes for season 3. If that's not enough, the snippet showcased how Justin, Fiona Rene (who portrays Reenie Greene), Jensen Ackles (who plays Russell Shaw), and more were excited to get back into filming.
"We're back in production," Justin stated in the clip. "More Tracker is coming your way."
Given how fans are eager for any information about Tracker season 3, seeing Justin deliver this exciting update had everyone pumped for what's to come on the show.
"Yayyyyyyyyyy so excited for you and us 😍," one person exclaimed in the comments. "Can’t wait. Jenson and Justin 🔥 goodness!!! Too much handsomeness on my tv!!! 🙌," another exclaimed. "Love this show 😍 excited for season 3 👏," a different follower added.

Along with dropping first look images at Tracker season 3 (you can take a look at a few of them below), CBS also revealed a premise for the premiere episode.
Titled "The Process," a press release (per TV Line) notes the installment will follow Colter as he "grapples with the shocking truth about his father's death." Elsewhere, Colter's brother Russell teams up with him to help "find the missing wife and daughter of a client Reenie works with." But amid everything, the Shaw brothers' reunion may uncover a underground operation that may be the tip-off point of the rest of the season.
