We just got another look at When Calls the Heart season 13 — and fans are looking to spot something that may be a major clue for what's to come.
The Hallmark drama is currently in production for its latest season, and folks want to know what's up with their favorites in Hope Valley. One particular couple they're enamored with is Elizabeth Thornton (Erin Krakow) and Nathan Grant (Kevin McGarry), who finally got together at the end of season 11 after years of mutual yearning for one another. And if that's not enough, the end of season 12 proved their love for each other as they headed off to Cape Fullerton to help Little Jack Thornton (Hyland Goodrich) get better care after his diabetes diagnosis.
But as the duo fall more in love on WCTH, viewers are eager to see more of Elizabeth and Nathan's romance in season 13. Before the new season airs on TV, the show's costume designer Barbara Gregusova decided to drop an Instagram sneak peek at some of the costumes folks can expect Erin to wear when she's on screen as Elizabeth.
"Where is Elizabeth? 👀 🕵️♂️," she wrote alongside a clip of Erin's costume fitting on August 5. "We missed our annual first fitting post this year … but here’s a little sneak peek from today’s fitting instead!"
While viewers were excited about seeing Erin's upcoming looks from WCTH season 13, some folks were keeping their eyes peeled for a potential costume that could predict Elizabeth and Nathan's future.
"Anybody else scanning 👀 those clothes looking for wedding attire? 😂," one person inquired in the comments. "Where's the wedding dress, did I miss it?" another asked. "Not me looking for a wedding dress!" a different follower added.
While we don't know whether any relationship changes are in the air for Elizabeth and Nathan, we can only hope! But given how the duo have proved they'll be there for one another through good and bad times, it seems fitting that they (a.k.a the show's writers) take the couple's relationship to the next level soon.
Looks like we'll need to keep our fingers crossed that something happens at the time When Calls the Heart returns to TV!
