Mariska Hargitay brought her family together for a heartfelt occasion — and fans absolutely loved seeing the rare moment.
The Law and Order: SVU star made her way to the 2025 Cannes Film Festival, where she debuted her new film My Mom Jayne. As the project sees Mariska learning more about mom Jayne Mansfield's life, she decided she'd make the work trip a family affair with her husband Peter Hermann, sons August and Andrew and daughter Amaya.
As the family of five walked down the red carpet for the premiere of My Mom Jayne on May 17, fans couldn't stop staring at Mariska and her loved ones. Dressed in coordinating outfits, August, Amaya and Andrew all looked so proud to see their mom promote something that means a lot to her.
When highlights from Mariska and her family's red carpet moment began circulating on Instagram, people couldn't get enough of seeing the normally private family pose in front of the cameras.
"Aaaww, beautiful family! 🥰💖👑🙏🏽," one person wrote in the comments. "STUNNING 😍 GOD BLESS Your Beautiful family @therealmariskahargitay ❤️," another declared. "Absolutely gorgeous family!" a different follower added.
As some fans may be aware, Peter and Mariska married back in 2004 after meeting on the set of Law and Order: SVU. The couple later welcomed August in 2006, with Amaya and Andrew adopted within six months of each other in 2011. And even though Mariska and Peter prefer to keep their kids out of the spotlight, the actress has opened up about what becoming a mom has been like after 40.
"I’m so grateful that I’m an older mom," she told People in January 2024. "Grateful that I became successful older. I don’t know if I could have handled it when I was younger. When I was younger I wasn’t as present but as I’ve gotten older I’ve started to accept and appreciate. and now I’m going to savor this moment. I want to share my lessons and where there is pain that I can fix that really inspires me to lighten the load."
We so love to see this!
