Valerie Bertinelli is getting personal about a project that she still holds close to her heart.
Back in June 2010, fans got to see the first episode of the actress' then-new sitcom, Hot in Cleveland. Working alongside Betty White, Wendie Malick and Jane Leeves, the series followed four middle-aged women who lived in a 50+ community in Cleveland, Ohio. The group would often get into hijinks and hilarious antics, while also experiencing emotional moments that further cemented the group's friendship.
In a moment of reminiscing about Hot in Cleveland, Valerie went on Instagram to share highlights from her time filming the show. She also celebrated the success the show had at the time — and how much working on it meant to her.
"10 years ago this week, we shot our final episode of Hot in Cleveland," she wrote on March 30. "Not a day goes by where I’m not ridiculously grateful for the opportunity I was given to be in a show with such brilliant writers, show runners, crew, and a cast and guest cast that was made of dreams beyond my wildest imagination. What an amazing ride. It’s never lost on me that I am one lucky lady. ♥️."
As fans saw Valerie reflect on a pivotal moment in her acting career, they flooded her comments with sweet memories of watching Hot in Cleveland on television.
"You have been a part of some very special shows!! Blessed for sure 🙏🏻. All so fun to watch! ♥️," one person wrote. "Still watch reruns ... one of my favorite shows of all time!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️," another penned. "10 years ago?!? OMG! I can’t believe that it was 10 years! I love that show. Genuinely funny. It is such a great show," a different follower added.
As fans may remember, Hot in Cleveland officially ran on TVLand for six seasons, and the final episode aired in June 2015. At the time, Hot in Cleveland received critical acclaim as it became the highest rated telecast in the network's history. The series also received a number of awards throughout its run, including a Primetime Emmy Award for Best Art Direction in 2011 and a SAG Award for Best Actress in a Comedy Series for Betty the same year.
We so miss this TV show ... and maybe this could be the start of a new era for Hot in Cleveland? We sure wouldn't mind a reboot!
