Kelly Clarkson is marking a major milestone in her career — and fans can't get enough of how she's celebrating the occasion.
When The Kelly Clarkson Show aired on NBC for the first time in September 2019, no one would've thought the daytime talk show would be as big as it eventually became. Now in the middle of its sixth season, viewers tune in every weekday to see Kelly perform a "Kellyoke" cover, interview the most popular celebrities and showcase a side of herself outside of her longstanding career in music.
Well, on March 20, fans learned The Kelly Clarkson Show would be airing its 1,000th episode. As a way to mark the occasion, the show's social team put together a video montage of photos from over the years on Instagram. What's more, fans had a unique opportunity to participate by screenshotting one of the photos and sharing it with the show on Instagram.
"1000 pictures from 1000 episodes! 📸," read the caption. "Screenshot to get your custom pic and share yours in our story!"
When viewers learned the exciting career update, they immediately went to the comments to celebrate Kelly's success on daytime TV.
"Here’s to the next 1,000! 🥂," one person wrote. "Yay congrats to you Kelly and entire crew! ❤️🙌," another exclaimed. "Oh my gosh! Happy 1000 shows @kellyclarksonshow!! So happy for you and the whole team! Such hard work put in every day!" a different follower added.
Well, this is definitely an occasion worth throwing a party over! As for how The Kelly Clarkson Show is celebrating their 1,000th episode, Kelly will welcome Tyler Perry and Alicia Vikander for interview segments. Additionally, Latin pop duo Mau y Ricky will hype up the audience with a music performance.
And for those wondering how Kelly is feeling about marking 1,000 episodes of The Kelly Clarkson Show, she was thrilled to be in the position she is today.
"It's been a great time. it's been a good show," she said in a video montage posted on Instagram. "We're celebrating some music, celebrating some great shows, and we're having a good time with this amazing audience. 1,000th episode!"
