When Valentine's Day rolls around, it's only natural to want to spoil toddlers with toys and gifts to show how much we love them. And no, they don't need a box of chocolates or a bouquet of roses yet. Instead, there are plenty of great toddler Valentine's Day gifts that they can play with, wear or "read" (we know you'll do the reading and they'll enjoy the pictures and story).

Our product testers in the Good Housekeeping Institute regularly test and review toys and kids' products, and I used their insights to help inspire some of the toddler gift ideas on this list. Here, you'll find lots of things appropriate for a preschooler, too, and many presents that would be perfectly adorable for an infant.

If you haven't heard, Jellycat is the new wave for plushies. This bashful bunny sits on its own at 12 inches tall. He is made with soft polyester and has long floppy ears that toddlers love. Ages 0+
