As a Huge 'Beetlejuice' Fan, I've Waited Decades for These Gifts and Merch

When I was a little goth growing up in 1989, all I wanted was a prop replica of the Handbook for the Recently Deceased, just like the one from the movie Beetlejuice. I don't even know where I first saw it — possibly advertised as a preview on a VHS copy of the movie — but I coveted it with all my might. But the only way to get it was through the Warner Bros. catalog, and I didn't have a credit card, so it was never mine.
Fast-forward 35 years, to the weekend before the release of the sequel to Beetlejuice (aptly titled Beetlejuice Beetlejuice). The merch was no longer confined to catalogues the way a bio-exorcist is trapped in an attic. I shuttled my family between stores on different floors of the mall to compare the Beetlejuice collection at Target and the collab at Primark. The juice was loose, and there were sweatshirts, sneakers, bags and accessories to buy. And yes, in addition to a couple of other purchases, I finally have my Handbook prop replica. (It has notecards inside.)

For fans who wear school IDs, badges or swipe cards during the day, this is a great holder that can be used throughout the Halloween season.
