Shake up tequila, fresh lime juice, and homemade sriracha syrup for a tart, refreshingly spicy cocktail with can’t-stop-sipping heat. Store any leftover syrup in the fridge for a future cocktail (you’re welcome!).

Ingredients
Finely grated lime zest, coarse salt, and lime wedge, for rimming
- 2 oz.
tequila blanco
- 3/4 oz.
fresh lime juice
- 1 1/2 Tbsp.
Tbsp Sriracha Syrup (recipe below)
Sliced Fresno chile, for garnish (optional)
Sriracha syrup
- 1/4 cup
sugar
- 1/2 tsp.
- 1/4 cup
water
Directions
- Step 1On small plate, combine lime zest and coarse salt. Rub lime wedge on rim of rocks glass, then dip in lime salt to coat. Fill with ice and set aside.
- Step 2In cocktail shaker filled with ice, shake tequila, lime juice, and sriracha syrup until shaker begins to frost. Strain into prepared glass and garnish with sliced Fresno chile if desired.

- Step 1In small saucepan, bring sugar, Homemade Sriracha, and water to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer until sugar dissolves, about 2 minutes. Remove from heat and let cool to room temperature.
