When Joey Graziadei was first announced to be on Dancing With the Stars season 33, he was just one among many who could make it all the way.
After first appearing on both The Bachelorette and then his own season of The Bachelor, Joey swept people away with his incredible dancing skills on DWTS. Partnered with Jenna Johnson, the two constantly outperformed themselves with memorable routines week after week. And let's not forget his iconic Tarzan-themed Samba during Disney Night, leaving people to truly swoon over how good he was as a performer.
By the time the DWTS season 33 finale came around, it seemed pretty clear Joey was set to win it all. And just like that, he managed to beat out Ilona Maher, Stephen Nedoroscik, Chandler Kinney, and Danny Amendola to become the 2024 Mirrorball champion!
Now that Dancing With the Stars is in the middle of airing season 34, it's only fair to wonder what Joey is up to nowadays. Turns out, he's still involved with the DWTS family ... and he's doing something the show has never done before.
Just days before the newest season of DWTS premiered on ABC and Disney+, Joey revealed he'd be emceeing the show's first official podcast. What's more, he shared an Instagram promo video where he mapped out some of the things he'd be doing as an official host.
"Big news! I'm hosting the Dancing With the Stars official podcast," he said in the clip on September 12. "I'm talking exclusive cast interviews, behind the scenes secrets, and expert breakdowns of those iconic performances you just can't stop talking about."
As soon as Joey's major DWTS update hit social media, some of his former competitors and pros were excited to see what he could do.
"So proud 🥹😭✨🫶🏼," Joey's former partner Jenna Johnson wrote in the comments. "WOAHHH CONGRATS!! That’s so cool!" Stephen Nedoroscik exclaimed. "OBSESSED!!!!!! So excited for the Pod you DONT EVEN KNOW!" Emma Slater added.
And if that's not enough, fans were equally curious about Joey's continued involvement with Dancing With the Stars.
"This was such a smart move, the people love Joey," one person noted. "DWTS knew exactly what they were doing and you know what. They got me, I'll tune in 🤩," another replied. "YESSSSS bring them tap shoes back out sirrr," a different follower penned.
As far as how Joey feels about being the official host of the Dancing With the Stars podcast, he told TV Insider how happy he was the show thought of him for this role.
"I stayed in touch with the whole family in general ... and they knew that I really was looking to, after my time on Dancing With the Stars, get more into the hosting space and try to find those opportunities," he shared with the outlet in September 2025. "When the Dancing With the Stars call came to do something on the podcast side, it just seemed like a great fit. I was honored that they thought of me, super excited, and eager to get started ... I’m honestly most of all just grateful that I got the opportunity."
