Duchess Meghan is showing us why her husband, Prince Harry, is her “favorite guy.”
On Sunday, as Instagram was flooded with tributes to dads around the world, Meghan made sure her other half wasn’t left out.
The Duchess of Sussex celebrated Harry’s role as doting father to their two children—Prince Archie, 6, and Princess Lilibet, 4—with a sweet, vintage-style video featuring never-before-some home videos ranging from their kids’ births to present day.
The touching mélange, set to Jason Mraz’s “Have It All,” showcased Harry’s nurturing side. The clips see him cuddling his newborns when they were first born, holding them in his arms, dancing with them, and later, introducing them to nature with runs on the beach, days in the garden, waterfall swims, and afternoons with animals on the farm. And like all dads, we see Harry teaching his kids the fundamentals, from reading with Archie during story time to riding bikes and kicking the ball around.
At the end of the reel, we see a video from present day, as the duke walks into an outdoor gazebo and is greeted with a large “Happy Father’s Day” banner adorned with hearts.
In the caption of her reel, Meghan wrote: “The best. Happy Father’s Day to our favorite guy.”
The former Suits star hasn’t been shy in sharing videos of her family since returning to the social media platform. In fact, her Father’s Day post comes just a week after she shared a glimpse inside the family’s recent trip to Disneyland with a montage video on Instagram.
The joy-filled day at the park—which included everything from rides on Splash Mountain and the Mad Tea Party cups to Cinderella’s castle and Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge—also seemed to double as a birthday celebration for four-year-old Lili, with Meghan including a snap of her daughter’s Little Mermaid-themed birthday cake in the Disney trip footage.
“Thank you @disneyland for giving our family two days of pure joy,” the duchess captioned the post.
