Dancing With the Stars season 34 is officially back, and we got a chance to speak with one of the pros: Rylee Arnold!
Now in her third season as a dance pro, Rylee has been paired up with Pentatonix star Scott Hoying. So naturally, we had to ask what it's been like training with the Grammy Award winner this year.
"What I really like about Scott is he's so musically inclined, and he can move!" she told Good Housekeeping exclusively during a partnership interview for Swoon. "He's got really good rhythm and he's just fierce! And I'm thinking that whatever week it is, we need to have some Pentatonix music, please!"
It's no surprise to viewers that the two love working together. For weeks, Rylee and Scott have been sharing behind-the-scenes footage of their rehearsals with fans on TikTok—something that has just recently become mainstream from DWTS contestants.
In fact, Rylee admitted to us that she was apprehensive about sharing so much on social media with fans when she first joined the cast.
"I remember my first season [in 2023], I was going into it and was nervous to make TikToks because no one else was making them," she said. "I was like, I don't want to look like a rookie in my first season! But I also really wanted to share certain bits and pieces of my life at the time, because people love it."
But with the cast showing fans what happens between each week, does it mean the DWTS producers will work harder at keeping fun surprises hidden from us? As Rylee says, that's not necessarily the case.
"We all want to help somebody, and it's really cool to be able to share our work online," she added. "We receive so much positivity from so many amazing people, and it's really cool that we have this BTS aspect now. Right now, there are no secrets! Everyone knows everything at this point, and it's really fun."
Totally agree!
